darkness (poetry)

let me paint you a picture

   darkness cages my thoughts,

    my numb soul is frostbitten,

my veins pulse with the sting of scorpions,

     my distracted eyes cry blood,

   my stiff face is branded by death,

my motionless body is ripened corpse,

      my heart is a broken mirror

  with the reflecting traces of your lies.
